The Quarter Century Mark

Last Saturday Leslie and Diana threw a party for my 25th birthday. Here are the pics. They really went all out with the decorations. I had a great time during the party talking and hanging out with my friends as well as their friends. Too bad the pics didn't turn out too well. I think my camera takes too long to capture an image when it's in night mode.

If you are wondering about the subtitle, it's because the girl who egged me on to take 8 shots is Korean, the guy who brought the lethal Soju (Korean rice wine, I believe) is Korean, as is my jolly roommate, who could drink with the best of them.

I don't remember what really happened near the end or when everyone left. The only memory I had in my aching head the next day was me trying to throw up in a plastic cup and being dragged by the roomie into the bathroom instead. People told me that I was hugging everyone at the party. I'm glad I didn't do anything too retarded or embarassing.

Sunday was hell as I had never gotten that sick ever before. I actually felt dizzy from watching skateboarding on NBC and had to switch to some PBS documentary on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

It's an odd thing to realize that I'm at the ripe old age of 25 already. It seems like only yesterday I was getting called "Big Ear Melon" by my uncle when I was in elementary school in China (still have very big ears as you can see) or falling into a ditch while trying to walk across a pipe spanning the two sides in 5th grade. Sigh, where have the years gone by?
