China Hilarity
Three things:
1.) A sign for a clothing store in the Barkor.
2.) Pictures from an article in the Beijing Evening News regarding the German student who jumped into the terra cotta warrior pit in Xi An.
3.) Scan of a brochure we got near Everest Base Camp identifying the animals in the "Nataure Preserve." Check out the wild asses and snow "lzopord." We had the good fortune to see some "blue sheep," but they looked neither "blue" nor "sheep"-like.
I seriously should open an English copy-editing business in China. I've seen SO many misspellings and grammatical errors on my trip and I'm not just talking about counterfeit name brand clothing either.
And yes yes yes, the photos are coming soon.
